Casual | Brisbane – Redcliffe Airport | Immediate Start

The opportunity

Are you a reporter or broadcaster looking to launch your career on National Television and Radio? A rare opportunity exists to join the Australian Traffic Network (ATN) team as a Traffic Reporter based in Brisbane on a casual basis with an immediate start.

About the role

As a Traffic Reporter you will join our thriving, fast paced team at ATN in Brisbane broadcasting live traffic reports from the ATN traffic chopper and in-studio that will air across major television networks and commercial radio stations in both metropolitan and regional areas.

 

As an ATN Traffic Reporter you will be available on a casual basis to:

  • Report live traffic updates on both television and radio
  • Be confident and capable presenting from an aircraft as well as in-studio
  • Work some split shifts Mon to Fri – Morning (5am – 9am) + Afternoon (3pm to 7pm)
  • Work some weekends – Morning (5am – 12 noon)
  • Work some Public Holidays – As requested

 

Experience and skills you will need

To succeed in this role you will have:

  • Minimum 2 years previous broadcasting, presenting or reporting experience
  • Basic audio recording and editing skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and broadcast accuracy
  • A vibrant personality that shines on camera
  • Clear and articulate verbal communication skills
  • Some basic knowledge of Brisbane roads
  • An enthusiastic and engaging personality
  • Willingness to learn on the job and be part of a fun, dynamic and inclusive culture

Are you a reporter or broadcaster looking to expand your career on National Television and Radio? A rare opportunity exists to join the Australian Traffic Network (ATN) team as a Traffic Reporter based in Essendon on a casual basis.

About the role

As a Traffic Reporter you will join our thriving, fast paced team at ATN Essendon broadcasting live traffic reports that will air across major commercial radio stations in both metropolitan and regional areas, plus, the possibility of broadcasting TV traffic reports from the ATN Traffic helicopter on major TV networks.

 

As an ATN Traffic Reporter you will be available on a casual basis to:

  • Report live traffic updates on radio and/or television
  • Be confident and capable presenting from an aircraft as well as in-studio
  • Work some split shifts Mon to Fri – Morning (5am – 9am) + Afternoon (3pm to 7pm)
